HyAk MARKET will be a much needed community and market space at Snoqualmie Pass, located in Washington State's Cascade Mountains just off I-90 exit 54 Hyak / Gold Creek. Our sustainable development will focus on small locally owned businesses that are passionate about quality and our environment to create a four season getaway through the following:

Design completed, native plants salvaged, site work started, and construction of green storage shed is almost complete! Construction of the first two buildings is in the financing stages and we are looking for farmer's market vendors for summer of 2010.

May 26, 2009 - We poured the footings for our 10x10 structure and stacked our "green" insulated concrete form blocks. We purchased the left over Durisol blocks from a home last October so we think of this as being the ultimate in reduce, reuse, and recycle. We are waiting for a metal channel to finish the job. It will be our job shack and then eventually become our recycle and trash center with our sign sitting on top. I replanted about 20 native flowers into our newest berm. The veggie beds are planted at home.
